Starting at Harbor in January 2021, Steve was hired to lead Harbors entry into the Exchange Traded Funds market. Prior to joining Harbor, Steve spent two and a half years with State Street, as a senior vice president in State Street Global Services unit. Steve was responsible for the managing the relationship, service delivery and business growth for several of State Streets Global Financial Institutions clients. His responsibility also included the ETF On-boarding and ongoing service relationships for the majority of State Streets ETF relationships. Prior to joining State Street, Steve spent over 20 years at BNY Mellon in the Asset Servicing business, with much of that time spent in the ETF industry. Steve was part of the team that successfully launched the Nasdaq 100 QQQ fund in the late 1990’s, and went on to lead product, operations, sales and relationship management, and ultimately the Global ETF Services business for BNY Mellon. He and his team oversaw the successful launch of thousands of ETFs in all major jurisdictions around the globe, including Ireland, The UK, U.A.E., Italy, Luxemburg, Hong Kong and Canada. Steve received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business.
